Kai Yong Kang is an experienced business development leader with deep expertise in fostering tech innovation and community building across Southeast Asia. With a background as a founder of media and education startups, Kai brings a unique entrepreneurial perspective to his role. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), he has led partnerships with hundreds of organizations, empowering thousands of tech startups. Notably, he co-founded AWS's first AI accelerator program in ASEAN, paving the way for the region's first Generative AI accelerator. Kai now leads startup business development for AWS in Vietnam and heads the Generative AI startup initiative across ASEAN.
