Although Vietnam is speeding up its vaccination program in an effort to loosen coronavirus lockdown restrictions in major cities by the end of the month, the country's overall vaccination rate remains low, at about 28%, with so far only 5% of the population having been fully vaccinated.

The government had previously confirmed that they will ensure enough vaccine supply, or will create favourable conditions for their imports. More and more of our members are asking for the possibility to vaccinate their employees, even if it means taking care of the importation and the cost. To date we have no positive information on this subject. 

Just like many countries in the world, Vietnam is in the process of setting up a health pass. Can we hope for a return to a certain "normality" with the generalization of this pass?

We have invited two international hospitals to tackle these issues and discuss the vaccination rollout towards economic reopening.
