Vietnam Contest in CAD-CAM-Simulation with CATIA

En partenariat avec NSV (le revendeur Dassault) et DS nous organisons un grand concours sur la conception, la fabrication assistée par ordinateur et le simulation en utilisant le logiciel CATIA V5 gracieusement fourni par DS.

Purpose
- Creating a high-tech playground for engineers/students
- Encourage the engineers/students to improve their skill at CAD/CAM/CAE software – one of the key skill is required in the industry now
- Contributing to create a stable input human resource for CAD/CAM/CAE engineer to the relating industries in Vietnam
- Support for enterprises can have good skill engineers at CAD/CAM/CAE in order to improve their competitive capacity and expand their business
- Contributing to connect the current industrial requirements with the input human resource
- Introducing the best industrial software solutions to enterprises, engineers and students in Vietnam

• PLM COMPETENCY CENTRE (PLMCC): Under University of Science and Technology of Hanoi – Vietnam – French University; The PLMCC is a state of art training centre that delivers basic to advanced level trainings on Dassault Systems PLM tools (Product Lifecycle Management). Content

• Organize a contest about CATIA using skill on a nation scale.
• There will be 3 phases:
  • The first phase: Registration and Knowledge questions test: the participants will register as 3 different roles with different question from: Design; NC Machining or Simulation. There is a Contest Website for registration and answering the questions.
  • The second phase: CATIA basic using skill test: the participants passed the first phase will receive this test on the Contest website. There will be a practice test. The time for the practice test will be limited in 2 weeks from receiving the test (be automatically count downed on the website). They will receive the temporary license in 3 months for doing the practice test.
  • The third phase: CATIA advance using skill test: the participants passed the second phase will be requested to improve their basic test result from the second phase with some technical criterions. The time for the practice test will be limited in 2 weeks from receiving the test (be automatically count downed on the website). They will keep using the temporary license which received from the second phase for doing this practice test.
  • Award Ceremony event: The ceremony and winners will be announced on the Contest Website, technical magazines and newspapers. Be combined with the awards program, there will be brief introduction from DS, NSV,USTH/PLMCC, Introduction the innovative 3DEXPERIENCE Platform; Sponsor’ products introduction.

This event will be organized in a 5stars hotel in Hanoi. And Vietnam Television and related magazines/newspapers shall be invited for publishing this event.

Participants

• Student in technical university/college/technical school
• Graduated engineer is working in industries, Government organizations/associations or institutes

Prize

• 01 prize for CAD role: 01 iPad Mini + 1 Dell Workstation + 1 trip 3days 2 nights to Singapore (visit DS Singapore and tour) + 1 CATIA advance training course at the PLMCC
• 01 prize for CAM role: 01 iPad Mini + 01 Dell Workstation + 1 CATIA advance training course at the PLMCC
• 01 prize for CAE role: 01 iPad Mini + 01 Dell Workstation + 1 CATIA advance training course at the PLMCC

• The Contest second round: from Oct. 17 to Nov. 22, 2016
• The Contest third round: from Nov. 23 to Dec. 13, 2016
