Experts from Terao Asia (Atixis Group) will share how companies can make their facilities more sustainable and reduce environmental footprint.
Sustainability is a growing concern for governments, corporations, and civil society. Leading economies in Asia, such as Vietnam, have announced ambitious carbon neutrality targets and Climate Change action plans. At the corporate level, more and more corporations - large companies as well as SMEs - have strengthened their corporate social responsibility guidelines by setting up clear improvement goals towards sustainability.
According to data from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), buildings and construction are estimated to be responsible for 39% of global carbon emissions, and industry for around 20% to 30%. How can we make concrete progress on the road to sustainability? First, by focusing on the right sectors, such as buildings and industries. Then, by making a reliable diagnosis in order to identify the main areas for reduction and planning this reduction plan with all levels of the company. The sustainability journey for a company will also open up numerous opportunities to reduce costs and improve employee well-being.
Vietnam & surrounding countries in Southeast Asia are facing important increases in energy prices. Most advanced economies are now setting up frameworks and obligations related to Energy Efficiency and Carbon Footprint recording & reduction.
During this event, Experts from Terao Asia (Atixis Group) will share with you how companies can make their facilities more sustainable and reduce their environmental footprint in the context of Vietnam (climatic conditions, access to technologies, energy market, financing, etc.). As Vietnam is a regional platform, a specific focus will be done at the Asset Portfolio level for Energy Management. Additionally, these experts will explain how sustainability goes beyond compliance and brings real economic and social benefits to companies.
*Please note that registration is by invitation only or with manual approval. If you are interested in participating in this unique event, please contact CCIFV at hanoi(@)ccifv.org.
