[THROWBACK] Lifestyle 2024 Exhibition: Connecting Vietnamese Handicrafts with Strategic International Markets
On October 18th in Ho Chi Minh City, the CCIFV, represented by Executive Director Mr. Adam Koulaksezian, spoke at the forum, "Connecting Handicraft and OCOP Products with Strategic Clients in Vietnam," during the Lifestyle 2024 Exhibition. This event served as a valuable platform to discuss the global growth of handicrafts and the evolving landscape of the Vietnamese lifestyle industry.
Vietnamese Handicrafts: A Key Opportunity for European Markets
During the forum, Adam Koulaksezian emphasized the high potential of Vietnamese products in the European market, especially in the home decor sector. He highlighted that "Made in Vietnam" products carry a strong reputation among European consumers, with support from the Vietnamese government for OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products bolstering this perception.
Addressing Challenges for Export Growth
While the Vietnamese lifestyle sector has promising potential, challenges remain, such as global economic uncertainties and stringent European regulations. Additionally, enhancing branding and marketing strategies is essential for Vietnamese businesses aiming for successful international exports.
CCIFV’s Role as a Partner for Vietnamese Lifestyle Brands
Mr. Adam Koulaksezian reaffirmed the CCIFV’s commitment to supporting Vietnamese lifestyle businesses in their international expansion. Maison&Objet is a leading trade show for decoration, design, and lifestyle. It takes place twice a year, in January and September, in Paris, offering exhibitors exceptional visibility with 2,500 brands, 70,000 visitors per session, and a network of 480,000 qualified contacts. Maison&Objet attracts 40% international buyers, opening doors to new markets.
