CCIFV's Foot For Hope event
Since 2015, CCIFV organizes a day of football every year to support a good cause.
In 2019, 16 teams from various companies and organizations joined us for a day of fun. Among the participants were Aden, Arep, Artelia, CTV, Elithis, the French Embassy Freyssinet, Fusan, Hilton, Lycee Francais Alexandre Yersin, Olmix, Red Apron, Saint Honore, Sodex, Structures Vietnam, and a consortium of Thales, Alstom and Colas.
CCIFV managed to raise VND 25,000,000 for the Hanoi based Charity Coup de Pouce Vietnam.
There’s nothing like a good game to bring us all together. Charity sport events serve as catalysts for physical activity by attaching meaning to the project. Research points to benefits of workplace teams that go beyond individual health. Besides employees who are also teammates tend to have better group dynamics and improved performance. Sports can help shake off the formality of the office and create a common goal.
As if this research was not convincing enough, CCIFV can give you four more reasons to introduce an office sports day for your employees in 2020:
- It will encourage a little (healthy!) competition
- It could boost productivity and concentration levels
- It helps inject a boost of fun into your office environment during challenging times
- And most importantly it will help Coup de Pouce Vietnam, a French NGO founded in 2000, continue to help underprivileged children in Vietnam.
