[THROWBACK] Conference: Artificial Intelligence in Society

On November 14th, the conference "Artificial Intelligence in Society: Navigating Between Tech Giants, Ethics, Regulation, and Governance" was a resounding success. Over 160 participants gathered at the Studio Saigon of Gameloft Vietnam to explore the impacts of AI on our society in an engaging and enriching atmosphere.
The event featured captivating presentations:
- Kai Yong Kang, Head of Business Development at Amazon Web Services (AWS), kicked off the discussions with a keynote on "Generative AI Trends in Southeast Asia".
- Thierry Lecat, Vice President of Production at Gameloft, shared insights on "The Impact of AI on the Future of the Video Game Industry".
- Fabien De Geuser, Dean of CFVG, delved into the topic of "The Oligopolistic AI Industry and Big Tech Companies: What Are the Potential Consequences for Businesses and Their Leaders?"
The main panel discussion, moderated by Asma Mhalla, political scientist, doctor, author, and columnist, was the highlight of the event. Moderators Hanh Mai, President of French Tech Vietnam, and Alexandre Sompheng, General Manager of Havas Vietnam, posed thought-provoking questions that allowed for deeper exploration of crucial topics such as the geopolitical influence of tech giants and the ethical and societal implications of AI.
