[THROWBACK] French Pavilion at Green Economy Forum & Exhibition 2022
The GEFE organized by EuroCham was held from 28 to 30 November 2022. On this occasion, CCIFV initiated the French Pavilion to showcase the green expertise of 13 French companies.
In addition to the quality EuroCham conferences, the French Pavilion also had its agenda:
On Monday, November 28, CCIFV was thrilled to open its French Pavilion within the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition in the presence of Mr. Nicolas Warnery, Ambassador of France, Mrs. Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser, Consul General of France, Mr. Thibaut Giroux, President of the CCIFV and Mr. Adam Koulaksezian, Director of the CCIFV and more than 50 French companies currently investing in Vietnam.
This ceremony was also an opportunity to present to the public the specificity of the French Pavilion: a 90% ecological booth designed in collaboration with Centdegrés, Kingsmen and Plastic People.
On the same day, the French Pavilion had the honor to receive the visit of Mr. Phạm Minh Chính, Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, Mr. Giorgio Aliberti, Ambassador of EU in Vietnam and Mr. Alain Cany, Chairman of EuroCham Vietnam.
On Tuesday, CCIFV co-organized a round table on the circular economy solutions of SMEs in NWR, France and Vietnam with Ms Adina Tauyatswala, AHK Vietnam - Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam to showcase best practice and present the global reach of EEN NRW / NRW.Europa.
We had the great pleasure to welcome a panel of experts:
- Ms Nicole Kronenberg - Ministry for Environment, Agriculture, Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MUNV), Germany
- Mr. Hieu Huynh - Southeast Asia Operation Manager of Terao
- Mr. Jonathan Sourintha - CEO of HRK
- Mr.Trung Thong - CEO of Lagom Vietnam
Also on November 29, Mr. Adam Koulaksezian had the chance to engage with the Acting Director General of the Department for Local Diplomacy of Facilitation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hieu at the French Pavilion. They discussed development orientations for the French business community in Vietnam in the coming years.
Finally, on the last day of the GEFE, we hosted a successful networking session gathering the partners that we had met during the three-day event as well as our business community. It was the occasion to thank again the 13 exhibitors for showcasing their green expertise on the French Pavilion: Bel, IDEC International, Air Liquide, Bureau Veritas, Saint Gobain, Sanofi, AFD, Groupe BPCE, Check, Hyvity, MHG, Terao, Veolia.
