[THROWBACK] Sial Shanghai

A look back at the inauguration of the Vietnam Pavilion at SIAL China 2024

From 28 to 30 May 2024, the Shanghai New Exhibition Centre (SNIEC) hosted SIAL China, Asia's largest food trade fair. This year, Vietnam brilliantly inaugurated its pavilion, located in the central area of the international pavilions, with an impressive surface area of over 400 m².

The opening ceremony of the Vietnamese pavilion was attended by a number of distinguished personalities:

Mr NGUYEN The Tung, Consul General of Vietnam in Shanghai
Ms NGUYEN Thi Kim Ngoc, Deputy Director of HCMV's Department of Industry and Trade
Ms VU Kim Hanh, President of the Association of Vietnamese High Quality Product Companies
Mr TAN Henri, Asia-Pacific Sales Director, SIAL
Mr POIRIER Romain, Founder of French House Construction Consultant and Interior Design
Mr KOULAKSEZIAN Adam, Executive Director of the CCI France-Vietnam

The Vietnam pavilion welcomed representatives from 50 Vietnamese companies, all of whom came to exhibit a wide range of quality food products, including :

  • Coffee and tea
  • Cereal products
  • Fruit and vegetables
  • Delicatessen
  • Confectionery
  • Beverages

Thanks to its strategic position and the diversity of its products, the Vietnamese pavilion quickly attracted the attention of international and Chinese visitors. The Vietnamese delegation, led by the CCI France-Vietnam, showcased the country's key food sectors, boosting recognition and interest in Vietnamese products on the world stage.
